Stratabound sulphide and skarn orebodies, mined for copper and gold. The massive sulphide ores occur between late devonian sandstones and middle carboniferous carbonates; the skarns were produced by intrusion of quartz diorite into late palaeozoic carbonates. Ore reserves of 95.45 million tonnes, with estimated metal reserves of one million tonnes of copper.
Located near Tongling.
