Small, old mine dumps in woodland around Gwern Efa, one mile south-east of Llantrisant, and where North (1916) noted a shaft sunk in search of lead. Often referred to as Rhiwsaeson (mine) by collectors after the nearby hamlet of Rhiwsaeson.
