Trachyandesite dome (1629 m asl) located NE of Le Mont-Dore, near Col de la Croix Morand (Col de Diane).
There are fumarole deposits with hematite and magnetite near the top, as well as numerous mafic enclaves containing enstatite and other minerals. Most enclaves have been collected in the roadcuts, or in the small quarry west of the dome.
The lat/long coordinates are those of the quarry, not the summit.
