Series of early workings on the Ashgillhead and Ashgillhead North Veins at the Firestone Sill horizon, followed by underground working by the London Lead Co.
Explored for fluorspar by Anglo-Austral Mines Ltd in 1950 and again in the 1970s by EXSUD Ltd.
Grid reference is for the portal of Ashgillhead Level.
