La Ribeyrette (La Fioure; La Fiouve) & La Fauvette valleys, Jax, Paulhaguet, Haute-Loire, Auvergne, France

Complex ore field between Pouzols and Jax, with five main veins (barite, fluorite, silver-bearing galena) and numerous parallel or crossing smaller veins and stockworks.

Most of the veins and ancient galleries are unnamed ; only one vein is known as : "Vialle Vieille" or "Moulin Barbe", it is located near Loubeyrat path, between La Ribeyrette and Viallevieille hamlet, along "Ruisseau de La Fioure".
The northern extremity of Jax vein ends here, on right bank of La Ribeyrette brook.

Autunite and torbernite occur in pegmatites and associated granites in the upper part of La Ribeyrette valley.

Hosts rocks are eyed-orthogneisses, porphyroid leucogranites (La Ribeyrette) and aluminous paragneisses (La Fauvette).
