Brenntal, Mühlbach im Pinzgau, Mittersill, Hohe Tauern, Salzburg, Österreich

Ancient copper and iron mining area. Main ores were chalcopyrite and pyrite, extracted from veins hosted by quartz phyllites. Today, the galleries are inaccessible, but extensive dumps still remain in the forest southeast of Wenns.
Located S of Mühlbach im Pinzgau, about 2 km west of Hollersbach and about about 2 km E of Bramberg am Wildkogel.

NOTE: The locality Mühlbach valley (Mühlbachtal) N of Mühlbach im Pinzgau is located within the Kitzbüheler Alpen Mts. and therefore listed separately.
