A former underground Ag-Pb-W-Cu-Zn-Fe mine located about 1 mile from the Howard Copper Company mine. Discovered about 1922. Patented claims extend into sec. 1.
Mineralization is a flat vein with a tabular ore body in amphibolite that strikes N.50ºW. and dips 25ºNE. The vein is about 2 feet wide and consists of quartz filling with fine comb structure. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. No alteration noted.
Area structures include foliation that trends N-S. This occurrence is adjacent to the Crazy Basin Batholith.
Working include a 200 foot deep incline and drifts to 200 feet to the West. Produced 1 carload of ore.
