Miniera delle Fornacelle, Rio Marina, Isola d'Elba, Livorno, Toscana, Italia
(m. 30-90 on s.l.) It is a little mine at the left hand of the provincial road from Rio Marina to Cavo (1.5 km before Cavo) between Monte Calendozio and Monte le Paffe.
Mining exploitation start in 1950 and end in 1968 (exhausted). Main vein was hematite with subordinated limonite and pyrite.
Copper minerals was found in the center of the stope and today it is possible to found them only in the dumps at right hand of the road until the sea.
