Miniera d'Ortano, Rio Marina, Isola d'Elba, Livorno, Toscana, Italia
(m. 11 on s.l.) Has been exploited from 1952 to 1964, mainly in galleries, for pyrite, and has been destroyed from Ortano Mare building up. Ore body is embanked in hedenbergitic skarn; in a gallery at -8 meters (now flooded by sea) were found ilvaite xls of 20 cm.!
