"Cactus, Arizona was a small community located at the intersection of Cave Creek Road and Cactus Road in North Phoenix. The community included Hyatt's Camp, a place for 'health seekers' to stay in small cabins and tents." Needless to say, the area has been transformed since then. Following Cave Creek Road 1.2 miles north from that Cactus Road intersection gives these coordinates near what is now Phoenix Mountains Preserve:
33°36'42.5"N
112°02'08.3"W
