Mooserboden-Stausee, Kapruner Tal, Hohe Tauern, Salzburg, Österreich
When the the dams and the hydroelectric power plant were constructed during the 1950's, a number of manganese mineralizations were cut. The minerals ususally appeared as finely grained inclusions in prasinites, free-standing crystals did not occur.
In summer 2007 collectors opened clefts with calcite and chlorite in the Mooserboden area.
