Hirzbach-Überleitungsstollen, Kapruner Tal, Hohe Tauern, Salzburg, Österreich
Occurrence of iron sulphides in a karst-like pipe structure, uncovered during the construction of a water tunnel by the TKW Company. The latter joins the Wasserfallboden reservoir to the Hirzbach valley, a small western branch of the Fusch valley which adjoins the Kaprun valley to the east. Located at a distance of about 1000 m from the tunnel entrance, just northeast of the Wasserfallboden reservoir.
