A former underground Cu mine, comprised of 202 claims, and located north of the United Verde property and about 3 miles west of Clarkdale. Closed 1920. Owned by the Jerome Superior Copper Co. Claims extended into sec. 11.
Mineralization is ore hosted in the Deception Rhyolite and the Grapevine Gulch Formation. Ore control was stratigraphy and igneous activity. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. Alteration included chloritization and sericitization.
Area structures include foliation in metavolcanic rocks that trends N10W to N40W. Massive sulfide lenses elongate parallel to the bedding in metavolcanic rocks.
Workings include a 900 foot deep shaft.
