A U-Fluorspar occurrence/claim with surface workings located in the SW ¼ sec. 27, T.15N., R.9W., 4.3 miles from Bagdad, about 155 feet West of the Hillside Mine road & 3 miles from the Hillside Mine. Owned by W.D. Moore of Bagdad (1951).

Mineralization is coarse-grained, porphyritic, Precambrian granite cut by many narrow pegmatite & aplite dikes. Most dikes are roughly parallel to the most prominant joints which strike N.23ºW. & dip 85ºNE. The uranium deposit extends along a fracture that strikes N.88ºW. & dips 60ºN., at a large angle to the regional structural trend, and that forms a well-defined footwall for the deposit. Ore is disseminated.

Workings include one shallow prospect pit (1951).
