In the early 1930s there were at last 5 different pegmatites worked as feldspar quarries all belonging to the land of the Frøyså Farm. They are situated south of the farm and on the southern and western slope of the hill Frøysååsen. These are respectively described, following Bjørlykke (1934), as Frøyså 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
