A former surface and underground Cu-Au-Ag-U-Th-Mo mine owned by Hugh Hubbard & Associates. Discovered in 1906 by William and M.A. Lawler. NOTE: Alternate coordinates provided: 34.4889N, 112.9333W; and 34.5117N, 113.2603W.
Mineralization is a vein of coarse-grained, milky white quartz & calcite hosted in the Butte Falls Tuff and King Peak Rhyolite. The ore body is pipe-like and irregular. Associated rock units are diorite porphyry and aplite. Ore control was a breccia pipe. Concentration was oxidation at near surface. No alteration noted.
Workings include a 175 foot deep shaft.
