The vein, complex in structure, cuts across road D 134, 800 meters SW from La Redonde hamlet.
It can be followed on 2 kilometers to the SW (Les Auvagniers and Reyrat woods).
Various mineralization types coexist : tardimagmatic violet-black stockworks of fluorite in granite, microbrecciated black quartz with arsenopyrite, tectonic hypersilicified breccia with agate microcrystalline red quartz and hematoid quartz crystals, banded violet/green fluorite, barite/pale blue fluorite association, and quartz with galena invading barite and fluorite formations.

Hosts rocks : Velay granite, migmatites and pegmatites.
