In places intruded by fine-grained granite dikes. The vein is said to be small. Associated rock units include the Crazy Basin Quartz Monzonite (1.5 miles east of the mine) and rhyolite dikes. Ore control was faulting. No alteration noted.
Workings include 8 tunnels the longest of which is 1,000 feet long. Produced an estimated $700,000 of metal (period values)(with the Gray Eagle Mine).
