The old name for this mine was Plynlimmon not to be confused with the mine of the same name, west of Plynlimmon mountain.
Nantiago was at work before 1846, when records start. The mine was again at work in 1853, and also in 1860-64. The mine was reopened in 1872 and continued to be developed until 1888. In 1900 the mine was yet again being worked, this continued until 1918 (?).
Recorded production: 1709 tons of lead ore, 1929 tons of zinc ore.
