A former U-Mo mine located in the USGS Wupatki NE quadrangle.
Mineralization is in lenses and pods. All orebodies in the area are surrounded by light brown to yellowish-brown alteration halos which cut across the normal purple and grey beds of host rock types. Sme control possible by fracturing a slight angle to the paleochannel. The ore fills intraformational chanels and scours within the upper 30 feet of the Shinarump member and the lower 60 feet of the Petrified Forest member.
