Weak vein on which several trials were made for copper ores.
The primary ore minerals and associated gangue were found as a true vein deposit within a small fault, but the sulphides more typical of a secondary enrichment process were found not only in the vein, but also within the sediments.
The most striking occurrence was as replacements of pyritic nodules in the shale separating the Main Limestone from the underlying Tuft Sandstone.
