Series of lead workings on Conistone Moor separated from those on Grassington Moor by Mossdale Beck.
All the shallow shafts and bell pits apparently worked weak veins and little spoil remains.
Grid reference supplied is for Moorhead Shaft, one of the major workings on the northern group of veins. Others in the area are:
Silver Rake (SE01127035), New Fearnought (SE01507038), North Mossdale (SE02287023), Twenty Meers (SE01777024), and Peck 'O Malt (SE00457009).
There was also a deep adit driven from Mossdale at SE01296966, which served workings on the southern area around Sarginson Rake and the Dreadnough Vein.
