The Marmaissat claim extends into the Puy-de-Dôme (near Apchat) and Haute-Loire departments (Blesle, Torsiac).
The veins are located in the Auze ravine, 3 km West of Lanau village (Haute-Loire). The La Forge vein is located on its slopes, 190 meters east of the main pit.
Quartz vein. Two galleries.
Host rocks : Leptynites and biotite-sillimanite gneisses.
