A former underground Zn-Ag-Pb-Au mine located in the center E½E½ sec. 23, T2N, R15E, on National Forest land.
Mineralization is a large vein.
Workings include 2 shafts at 100 and 160 feet deep, plus a 180 foot drift (1881). A 5-stamp mill was erected on the property.
