A diatomite deposit located in secs. 19 & 35, T6S, R27E, near Solomonville. Sec. 19 was used for lat/long location. Deposits extend into T6S, R28E.
Mineralization is lacustrine diatomite. High-quality diatomite crops out as a thin erosional remnant. The diatomite bed has cherty layers and is interbedded with clay and alluvium.
