Sulfide mounds and chimneys. Located in the rift valley south of the Kane Fracture Zone (24 degrees N). Some of the pyrite here is extraordinarily rich in Zn (4.5 wt%) which is probably in solid solution (even though the original description of this material (Honnorez et al. 1990) assumed submicroscopic sphalerite inclusions).
