A group of manganese claims and surface prospect located about 1 mile south of the U.S. group of claims, at an altitude of 2,400 feet.
The deposit is a brecciated zone in red andesite, which trends NW. The ore is a black, earthy oxide, pyrolusite, with a few crusts of psilomelane, associated with fragments of andesite and calcite veinlets.
Workings are comprised of an open cut 40 feet long, 15 feet wide, and 6 feet deep. About 23 tons of ore were shipped in 1917.
