A pegmatite with several phases of sporadic activity: before WWII was worked for large "books" of mica, exported on horseback and oxcart; after WWII was worked for industrial beryl (approx. total 1,500 tons); then abandoned until tantalum became a pricy commodity, and so re-opened for its Ta-rich ferrocolumbite.
