A former gold mine located in the east-central sec. 23, T.19N., R.20W., about ¾ mile SE of Oatman. Part of the Tom Reed Mine.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a lenticular orebody. NNW to WNW-trending vein and fault system in Tertiary volcanic rocks. The Grey Eagle portion of the Tom Reed vein is a down-faulted segment, displaced by the Mallory fault. This fault strikes N to NW and dips steeply NE. Displacement along the dip is 500 feet.
