A metasomatic magnesite deposit within the graywacke zone.
Mined from 1893-1934 (Ehrenböck-, Stranz quarry)
Located near Eichberg, about 1 km west of Gloggnitz.

Note: a small Cu ore mineralisation was visible in the Stanz quarry and was periodically mined between 1590-1750.
