Unnamed prospects located about 1 mile WSW from Deering Camp in Box Canyon, at an elevation of 4,800 feet.
Mineralization is a 1 foot (30 cm) wide quartz vein which dips to the south between granite and a 4 foot rhyolite dike. The quartz shows comb structure, is honeycombed, pitted, and stained with limonite, and contains some galena and a little pyrite. Ore reduced in an old arrastre was reported to yield considerable free gold.
Workings include a 12 foot deep shaft.
