A Au-Ag prospect located in the SW¼SW¼SW¼ sec. 35, T21S, R15E, east of the Ivanhoe Mine on the Smith Gulch side of the ridge, on National Forest land. Mr. James Cochran had unspecified involvement here (1915).
Mineralization is the Old Republican vein. The vein here is associated with the contact of the younger dark andesite intruded into the older andesite and seemingly also into the diorite, and the ore is similar to that of the Commercial tunnel of the Ivanhoe.
Workings include several short tunnels and a 40 foot shaft.
