Prismatine crystals up to 5 cm long occur in biotite paragneiss in road cuts.
A 300 x 1500 metre lens of paragneiss in Precambrian marble, with an outcrop located less than 200 metres south of Hincks Bridge, about 4km from Kazabazua. The closest town, Lac-Sainte-Marie, starts about 200 metres away, on the other side of the bridge.
"The deposit is in the Aylwin township, Range III, Lots 15 and 16, and along the road from Kazabazua to Lac Ste-Marie, on the southwest bank of Gatineau river, near Hincks bridge." J.P.Girault (1952)
(Note: "Hinck's Bridge", with an apostrophe, is a misnomer.)
