Alteration: Volcanics Silicified, Kaolinized, & Brecciated Near Orebodies
Deposit: Magnetite and hematite replace brecciated volcanics along shear zones. Located by and held in 1962 by iron king adventures co. Development consists of bulldozer cuts and hand dug test pits ; info.src : 1 pub lit
Deposit type: Volcanic-hosted magnetite
Development: Located by iron king adventures co. In 1962
Geology: Hematite & matnetite As replacements in ondesite, and dacite along near vertical shear zone that strikes n75w. The iron was probably derived from lower cret. Plutonic rock, and transported by hydrothermal fluids. (muffler, 1964). Replacement was complete was complete enough only in a small part of the area, to form ore grade material.
