Burning coal dumps near St Etienne. These huge dumps (7 million tons of materials) come from the "Pigeot" shaft (closed in 1983) which was the deepest coalmine shaft (-1005,36 m) of the St Etienne area. Today, these dumps are operated in a quarry to make road gravels, therefore they will disappear before 10 years...
