An underground Cu prospect/mine shaft located 2.2 miles SE of Jerome and 4 miles west of Cottonwood. It sits upon the incline of a ridge leading up to Mingus Mountain, above the Del Monte Wash. A small dirt trail that starts at Abbey Road S. leads to the shaft for 1.27 miles and then continues on for another 1.2 miles. Elevation at the shaft is approx. 4340 feet. Claims extend into the SW¼NW¼ of sec. 31, E½E½ of sec. 25, T16N, R2E, and into the NE¼NE¼NE¼ of sec. 36, T16N, R2W, and the N½N½ and the N½S½NW¼ of sec. 6, T15N, R3E.
Workings include a shaft of unknown depth, approx. 60 feet across, which has been backfilled by weathering and erosion. There are several dumps of Quartzite, Chert, Sandstone, and other discard. There are two large concrete blocks with iron rods running through them off to the side of the shaft, possibly halted construction.
