KY 1638 roadcut, Muldraugh (Fort Knox), Meade Co., Kentucky, USA

Road cut about one mile west of US 31W at Muldraugh. Area is surrounded by Fort Knox. Road cut occurs within a few hundred meters of the apex of the Muldraugh dome, a compact geologic structure. Mineralization around the dome is unique for Kentucky geodes.
