Nally - Gibson quarry, Springfield, Washington Co., Kentucky, USA
Located south of town. A series of quarries in the Upper Ordovician Bull Fork Formation. Minerals are common in fossils, particularly stromatoporoid sponges and brachiopods. Vugs up to 30 cm may be found, generally lined with scalenohedral calcite (white, pink or brown).
