"Magnetite occurs in small amounts with silver-cobalt ore minerals. A small amount of ore was obtained between 1924 and 1926 from veins containing high grade silver. The deposit was worked again by Agnico Mines Ltd. From 1963 to 1971, the ore being milled at the Pen Mill. The company deepened the existing shaft from 347.5 feet to 460 feet."
