A group of Ag-Au-Mn-Al-Cu-S-silica-limestone & U claims with quartz, located in the NE¼ sec. 15 & in the SE¼ sec. 16, T.4S., R. 13E. (Grayback 7.5 minute topo map), about 5 air miles SW of Kelvin. Additional names include Comstock group; Bi-Metallic group; Argonaut group; Winona 1-8 unpatented claims, Watts 1-3 unpatented claims, Shorty 1,3,4 unpatented claims, Katherine unpatented claims.
Hobby No. 1-12 and Watts No. 1-3 claims are not adjoining one another. Claims extend into W½ of sec. 15, and into secs. 9-14 and sec. 16. Claims overlap Zelleweger patented claim MS 3314.
Mineralization is a vein deposit that includes secondary copper minerals.
