A-type sheet rapakivi granite in Wichita Mts.
Rapakivi texture is due to depressurization of a H2O-undersaturated magam during its ascent from temporary crustal magma trap (7-8 kilometers) to emplacement along a magma trap beneath a rhyolite volcanic pile.
