Porphyry copper deposit: Cu, (Mo, Se, Au, Ag).
Intrusive host rocks (amphibole diorite and later multi-phase sequence of dioritic (Late Miocene diorite) porphyry intrusive units and breccia units) show argillic, alunitic and propyllitic alteration, as well as silicification.
Mineralization (disseminated sulfides) occurs in the central potassic alteration and quartz stockwork veined cylindrical central zone.
Veins with a clustered organization.
Open pit sulfide reserves : 126 000 tons Cu.
0.5 g Au /t ore.
Located about 4 km NE of Rosia Montana.
