A former surface and underground W-Cu prospect/mine located in the N½N½ sec. 12, T1S, R13E (Pinal Ranch 7.5 minute topo map), about ½ mile SW of Top of the World, near the Gila County line, and about 10 miles N of Superior, between the Swede Mine and the Rainbow group, on National Forest land. One claim of this group extends into Gila County. Owned by G. A. Gabitzsch and James Owens of Arizona (1959). NOTE: Alternate coordinates provided: 33°21'0"N, 110°58'59"W.
Mineralization is a vein deposit which includes secondary copper minerals. One enriched zone formed at the intersection of the vein and a quartz filled fracture.
Workings include a 25 foot adit and 11 shallow open cuts.
