A tourmaline-bearing pegmatite near a village of the same name, located in the Yen Bai province of northern Vietnam. Tourmaline specimens from this mine recovered in 2005-2006 are reported to be liddicoatite. Ruby and spinel specimens are not from Minh Tien, but from marbles at the nearby village of Ah Phu.
(Note that specimens from here have been sold in the past under the wrong locality name "Yuang Yang" or "Yueng Yang", which is a town across the border in China.)
