Aplites and pegmatites veins in micaschists which are exposed on slopes of the D62 road (leading from La Terrasse to Pelussin) in La Mornante valley. These subhorizontal veins are arranged around a leucogranite dyke which was operated in a small quarry.
Pegmatites are composed of quartz, muscovite, feldspar and schorl. Aplites are formed by fine grained quartz, felsdpar and micas with big garnets. Some narrow vertical cracks contain pneumatolytic paragenesis: quartz, muscovite and albite with sometimes pyrrhotite, fluorite and apatite-CaF.
