Prominent hill of a Quaternary trachyandesite locally containing xenoliths. The trachyandesite hill is Neogene (1.6 Ma). The fluoro-magnesiohastinsite decribed from this type-locality forms idiomorphic, long-prismatic crystals up to 3 mm, often associated with fluorophlogopite.
