Defunct gold mine in pneumatolytic-hydrothermal quartz vein, poor in sulphides, hosted in Mesozoic slate adjacent to Tertiary granite intrusion. Gold content 4 to 8g/ton.
(Located either adjacent to the Baikei mine, or perhaps they could be considered the same mine.)
