A former U-V occurrence/mine located in T38N, R28E, G&SRM, 5.3 km (3.3 miles) N of Kinusta Mesa (coordinates of records) and 1.5 miles E of Alcove Canyon.

Mineralization is carnotite in irregular, tabular layers hosted in Late Jurassic claystone, siltstone and sandstone of the Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation. The ore is usually found in clusters, usually associated with carbonaceous detritus. Local rocks include rocks of the San Rafael Group.

Production was a few hundred tons of ore.

Scattered resources are limited.
