A former surface Mn mine located in the USGS Woods Canyon quadrangle. Components designated Rainbow No. 12 M.S. 4512 claim; Glory Hole No. 2 M.S. 4512 claim; and the Mesa Verde No. 4 M.S. 4512 claim.

Mineralization is Mn oxide ore in fragments and masses with some seams and fractures along bedded planes and fractures within sandstone.
