A cinders/pumice occurrence located in the N½N½ sec. 17, T23N, R8E, G&SRM, 6.8 km (4.2 miles) WNW of Sunset Crater (coordinates of record), in the O'Leary Peak quadrangle, on National Forest land. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 100 meters.

Mineralization is a volcanic cinders/pumice deposit. Local rocks include Holocene to middle Pliocene basaltic rocks.

Workings include surface openings comprised of a pit based on the title of the MRDS file.
